After 20 years working with patients who were getting no benefits from poor quality Omega 3 fish oil supplements Dr.Geoff Hayhurst decided to investigate the Paradox that two of the healthiest populations on earth, The Eskimos and The Mediterraneans have diets extremely high in fat.
Geoff saw that many of his own patients were taking supplements which contained non effective “oxidized Omega 3 oils or highly concentrated Omega supplements which extracted many of the good fatty acids and left highly unstable and unbalanced products., He was convinced that the fusion of the different good fats and antioxidants in the Eskimo and Mediterranean diets could create a synergy in a new and unique Omega supplement- The result was Paradox

Dr Geoff Hayhurst
Geoff was educated at The Royal Belfast Academical Institution and later studied Dental Surgery at Manchester University. After graduating in 1981 he practiced Dentistry in England but his career was cut short after a serious road traffic accident left him needing extensive spinal, pelvic and hip surgery. It took several years to rebuild his life and his career and in that time he retrained as an Osteopath. He returned to Ireland in 1985 where he set up his Osteopathy practice in Belfast ,where he continues to treat his patients .

When Geoff originally researched and developed Paradox it was initially designed as a supplement to improve bone and joint health, but it soon became apparent after clinical trials with his patients that this particular blend of oils was demonstrating impressive improvements in the health of many of the other body systems. Anecdotal evidence was showing health benefits in young and old and those with a range of health problems.
